620-005 The BIOCOMPOSITES 620-005 is STIMULAN® Rapid Cure, 5 cc paste kit. It is a pharmaceutical-grade, recrystallized calcium sulfate bone void filler supplied sterile for single-patient use. When the pre-measured powder and mixing solution are combined, the paste can be digitally packed into an open bone void or gap to set in place, or placed in the supplied mold to form beads (3 mm, 4.8 mm, 6 mm). The beads are biodegradable and radiopaque. Manufacturer labeling describes resorption in roughly 30–60 days when used as directed. In the U.S., STIMULAN Rapid Cure is labeled for use in the presence of infection as a bone and soft-tissue void filler that is not intrinsic to structural stability (confirm current IFU for the market).
