922H The Ethicon 922H is a 3-0 chromic gut absorbable suture designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. Made from purified collagen derived from bovine or ovine sources, it undergoes a chromic treatment to slow the absorption rate and enhance tensile strength retention. The suture features a 36 mm CT-1 (1/2 circle) taper point needle, providing smooth, atraumatic passage through tissue. Indicated for soft tissue repair—including ophthalmic procedures—this suture is not recommended for cardiovascular or neurological applications. It is sterile, single-use, absorbable, and offers predictable absorption in approximately 90 days.
