ABSTACK30 Fixation Device, 5 mm Size, 36 cm Shaft Length, 30 Staples Used, Polyester Copolymer Tack, Pistol Grip Handle, Single-Use The Covidien ABSTACK30 AbsorbaTack™ Fixation Device is a sterile, single-use laparoscopic mesh fixation system designed for strong temporary fixation during hernia repair. It features a 5 mm diameter shaft, 36 cm working length, and delivers 30 absorbable polyester-copolymer tacks with consistent deployment. Engineered for enhanced performance, the AbsorbaTack system continues to deploy tacks even when the shaft is flexed over 3 cm, making it suitable for complex anatomical access during minimally invasive hernia procedures. A short version (ABSTACK20S) is available for open repairs.
