PCO15X The Parietex™ Optimized Composite Mesh (PCO15X) from Covidien (Medtronic) is a composite surgical mesh designed for laparoscopic ventral hernia repair and intraperitoneal soft tissue reinforcement. The mesh features a 15 cm round configuration and combines a three-dimensional polyester knit structure with an absorbable collagen film barrier. The polyester textile side is engineered to support tissue integration and handling characteristics during surgical placement, while the absorbable collagen barrier is intended to limit tissue attachment to surrounding visceral structures during the healing process.
