TEM1515G The COVIDIEN TEM1515G is Parietex™ ProGrip™ self-fixating mesh, a 15 cm × 15 cm rectangle from Medtronic (formerly Covidien / Sofradim). It combines a macroporous monofilament polyester (PET) textile with absorbable PLA microgrips so the mesh can fix itself without tacks or sutures over much of the surface. ProGrip is designed for secure, even tension distribution and faster placement (often described as positioning in under 60 seconds). After the PLA grips resorb, the remaining polyester is a lightweight macroporous mesh (about 49 g/m² after absorption vs. ~82 g/m² before).
